Mission accomplished. Thanks go out to my niece Shelley who was able to fix the mess my publishing (with a small p) company made when they submitted the final file of True light and a Welcome Home Party to Amazon for publishing. Actually they had done quite well to that point, but I found a major “find and replace” error when I was holding the supposed final product of the novel in my hands. It was difficult to fix until we found the copy of the final draft that I’d sent back to them. They also hadn’t submitted the ISBN numbers, issued to me for each book by Library and Archives Canada. I had to republish the books. Now that things are straightened out. we are good to go!
Finally some news for you… sometimes things take a little more time than we want them to. Today, as promised just two days ago, Amazon delivered copies of True Light and a Welcome Home Party, and A Safe Place to Run to. I really doubted that they would arrive so quickly… they are print on…
Just a quick post to bring you some exciting news. Finally things have worked together so that I can publish A Safe Place to Run to. You can read a short description and my motivation behind writing it, in the previous blog (written long, long ago). I’m thankful that the Lord recently provided a reputable…
It’s been way too long since I last blogged. Can I blame it on Covid? No… really I can’t. All my life whenever I started journaling I did not keep it up. I’m a procrastinator, and starting things has always been a challenge. I will admit I’m not a good blogger, but I still want…
According to my most recent email from WordPress I’m about to celebrate my one year anniversary… for this website that is. So where did that year go? I feel that I am in the same boat as I was last year… time is still moving faster than I am… but today was kind of a…
Welcome back! Now it’s the night before Christmas… for real. Are you ready? I am … well except for wrapping all my presents… and I’m almost finished cleaning up the back living room to make it habitable… we need the extra extra space to social distance tomorrow. So… do you want to hear about my…
As I begin writing tonight the clock says 11:51 PM and soon it will be Christmas Eve. Finally it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas here at our house. Unlike many of my friends and relatives I don’t start planning early, and sometimes I’m not ready at all when the big day arrives.…
It’s been a while again since I’ve written. In the last few days I’ve had some feedback about Enough Grace to Make Things Right so it got me thinking I better connect on here. The main push came today. I opened up a Facebook message from my oldest son. The message read. (four hearts) thanks…
Lots has happened over the past month. I know I’ve talked about time here on the blog. Just looking back over the past week I’m back to thinking time flies, but at least thinking about the last month I see what I’ve accomplished. Things have been busy. I waited a long time for my copies…
The doorbell rang. I jumped, and Clarence laughed as I ran… well to be honest I couldn’t run with six kids and a bunch of toys between me and the door. They weren’t purposely trying to block my way; excitement is contagious you know. The fellow at the door asked if this was one-eighty. I…
Tuesday, September 07 by End of Day The books are on their way to my house. By midnight, (hey, they said the end of the day right?) on Tuesday six boxes should be piled in my living room. I’m figuring they can’t be very big boxes … maybe 20″ by 12″. I’m quite pleased they are…
